The overnight road work that went longer than expected on eastbound 94 in the Albertville area has lifted, but there are still lengthy delays. Traffic is crawling from Hwy. 25 over to about County Road 19.

In the metro proper, minor congestion on southbound 35W from Hwy. 10 to I-694 is adding only a couple minutes to the commute.

Look for a brief slow down on 694 in the work zone from Hwy. 252 to Long Lake Road.

Elsewhere, we have light levels of traffic, meaning commute times are looking good.

One note for drivers in the far north metro. Northbound Hwy. 65 is closed at 237th Avenue as the State Patrol and Anoka County authorities handle a serious and possible fatal crash. The stoplights are out, and police are directing traffic onto the southbound lanes.
