The crashes just keep coming as we head into the heart of the rush hour.

The crashes just keep coming as we head into the heart of the rush hour.

The latest is on eastbound 494 at Xerxes Avenue. That has traffic crawling from Hwy. 100.

In the east metro, northbound Hwy. 61 slows approaching I-94. Once on 94, look for a slow roll from Hwy. 61 to downtown St. Paul.

The drive in the north metro is just plain gnarly. Southbound 35W is still crammed due to an earlier accident at County Road 96. The backup is still in place from 95th Avenue.

A wreck on eastbound Hwy. 10 at Hwy. 65 is blocking the left lane. Things are very slow in the immediate area.

On westbound 694, the combination of a crash at Hamline Avenue and the ongoing construction in the area has traffic backed up to Rice Street.
