Three crashes are tying up traffic on metro area roads, in Minnetonka and Bloomington.

The biggest delay is on northbound 35W due to a crash at 98th Street. It's off to the right shoulder but it's still slowing traffic. Plan on 15 minutes from the 35E/35W split to 76th Street.

On westbound 494, it's 10 minutes from Hwy. 110 to Lyndale Avenue due to a stalled vehicle on the right shoulder at 12th Avenue.

And there is word of a wreck on 494 between Minnetonka Blvd. and 394 in Minnetonka.

Elsewhere, look for congestion on southbound 494 from Bass Lake Road to 394 in Plymouth. And as usual, 35W southbound is crowded from Hwy. 10 to Hwy. 280. That drive will take about 18 minutes.

In the east metro, look for a slowdown on southbound 35E from County Road J to 694.

The stalled vehicle on 94 westbound at White Bear Avenue has been towed away. It's still busy in the area. Plan on 10 minutes to reach downtown St. Paul.

As an eviction crisis has seemed increasingly likely this summer, everyone in the housing market has made the same plea to Washington: Send money — lots of it — that would keep renters in their homes and landlords afloat.
