Commuters in the south metro definitely have it better than their counterparts in the north metro. That is where congestion and crashes are making for a slow drive to work.

On southbound 35W, a crash at County Road 10 has traffic at a standstill starting at Lake Drive. It also is impacting eastbound Hwy. 10. Delays begin at County Road J.

Southbound 35E is crammed from Little Canada Road to downtown St. Paul. That is 15 minutes.

Look for minor congestion on southbound 494 from 94 to Rockford Road. That is 8 minutes.

Westbound Hwy. 610 is running behind the posted speeds from Hwy. 10 over to Hwy. 252. Ahead on 252, look for a stall at 85th Avenue.

South metro freeways and highways are still looking green on the traffic maps, but levels are building.
