7:05 a.m. update: Just minor congestion

Commuters are experiencing a hassle-free drive on most mainline roads. The exception is some minor congestion on southbound 494 from the Fish Lake Interchange in Maple Grove to Rockford Road in Plymouth. It's 12 minutes to reach 394.

You'll notice the squeeze on southbound 35E from Hwy. 36 to downtown St. Paul and the usual slow down on westbound 94 from Hwy. 61 into downtown St. Paul.

Southbound 35W is moving just below the posted from Lexington Avenue to 694, but that won't cost you much time.

The south metro looks good, with 17 minutes on northbound 35W to downtown Minneapolis and 19 minutes on northbound 35E to downtown St. Paul.
