7:05 a.m. update: A lack of crashes

The good news is that today is Friday and even better news is that the roads are in great shape. So far we've had an accident-free rush hour and combined with light levels of traffic, it's been a nice morning for commuters.

The good news is that today is Friday and even better news is that the roads are in great shape. So far we've had an accident-free rush hour and combined with light levels of traffic, it's been a nice morning for commuters.

The only delays appear to be in the work zones on I-694 in the north metro and on northbound 35E in the south metro. There, it's 10 minutes from County Road 42 up to Cedar Avenue.

On major routes such as the Crosstown and 494 through Bloomington, commuters will encounter pockets of slow and go traffic, but nothing that will add more than a couple minutes to the drive.
