6 a.m. update: Current travel times

Black ice is a definite possibility this morning as temperatures are well below zero. Our first case of it is on the ramp from County Road 81 to southbound Hwy. 169 in Brooklyn Park. Two separate crashes have occurred and the ramp is entirely blocked. Authorities calling for five tow trucks.

Elsewhere the Blaine Fire Department is in the final stages of dealing with a car fire on northbound 35W at 95th Avenue. The right lane is blocked approaching the scene.

On southbound 35W, look out for a stalled vehicle sitting on the right shoulder at Hwy. 10 in Shoreview.
