It might be frigid out there, but at least we don't have the snow-covered roads to deal with. But do be alert for the possibility of black ice, especially on roads that pass by bodies of water and on bridge decks and ramps.

Just one crash on the system at this hour, and you'll find it on the northbound side of I-35E on the Cayuga Bridge.

West metro

Eastbound 94 from Hwy. 101 to 494: 10 minutes

Southbound 494 from 94 down to 394: 8 minutes

Eastbound 394 from 494 to 35W via 94: 9 minutes

Southbound Hwy. 169 from I-94 to Crosstown: 13 minutes

South metro

Northbound 35W from County 42 to Crosstown: 9 minutes To downtown Minneapolis: 15 minutes.
