6 a.m. update: Building levels

Traffic levels are picking up on northbound I-35 through Lakeville where the freeway is down to a single lane from County Road 2 to County Road 50. It's still not a horrible drive with only a few extra minutes needed at this hour.

Traffic levels are picking up on northbound I-35 through Lakeville where the freeway is down to a single lane from County Road 2 to County Road 50. It's still not a horrible drive with only a few extra minutes needed at this hour.

Southbound I-35W is filling in from Lake Drive to County Road 96 through Shoreview and Mounds View.

Look out for a deer versus car crash on Hwy. 55 and South Shore Drive in Medicine Lake.

The rest of the roads are in good shape, so enjoy the open space while you can.
