6:55 a.m. update: Slick on 494 in Eagan, Bloomington

The stretch of I-494 from east of the Minnesota River over to Cedar Avenue has been a difficult drive all morning. We've had several crashes and spinouts.

The stretch of I-494 from east of the Minnesota River over to Cedar Avenue has been a difficult drive all morning. We've had several crashes and spinouts.

The latest is on eastbound 494 at 35E. and couple vehicles in a crash at Hwy. 5 near the airport. There is also one on westbound 494 at Pilot Knob Road.

Southbound 35E is still heavy due to the remants of a crash at Maryland Avenue. Plan on 16 minutes from 694 to 94.
