6:55 a.m. update: Major slowdowns on north metro highways

Traffic is creeping along on eastbound 94 from Hwy. 101 to 494 in Maple Grove. 33 minutes needed there.

Crews are working to clear a major crash in downtown Minneapolis on northbound 94 at 394. Look for traffic to jam up beginning at 1st Avenue. Traffic is getting by only in the right lane at the crash scene.

A stalled vehicle is blocking the left lane on eastbound 394 at Dunwoody. That's making the drive from Hwy. 100 to downtown difficult.

Traffic is creeping along on eastbound 94 from Hwy. 101 to 494 in Maple Grove. 33 minutes needed there.

Drivers on westbound 94 can expect a 24-minute ride from 494 to 35E in St. Paul.

On southbound 35W, it's 35 minutes from Lexington Avenue to Hwy. 280.

On southbound 35E, it's 30 minutes from County Road J to Hwy. 36.

On westbound Hwy. 36, 24 minutes from Hwy. 61 to Hwy. 280.

On southbound Hwy. 100, it's 34 minutes from 94 to Hwy. 7.
