6:50 a.m. update: Serious crash closes lane on Hwy. 52

What looks to be a serious crash has the right lane of southbound Hwy. 52 at Butler Avenue in West St. Paul. Lots of emergency vehicles are on the scene. Look for a minor slow down on the northbound side as the gawker effect kicks in.

Ramps can be slick. Just ask the motorist who slid off the ramp from County Road 11 to northbound I-35E in Apple Valley. We had one earlier up in Maple Grove.

A crash is now blocking the left lane of southbound 94 at Olson Hwy. Look for things to plug up quickly heading into the Lowry Hill Tunnel.
