6:50 a.m. update: Pockets of congestion, but still a fine drive

Traffic levels are lighter than normal in most parts of the metro, but we do have a few places where things are starting to fill in.

Traffic levels are lighter than normal in most parts of the metro, but we do have a few places where things are starting to fill in.

Look for pockets of congestion on southbound 35W from Hwy. 10 to 694.

Same is true on southbound 35E from Hwy. 36 to downtown St. Paul and westbound 94 from White Bear Avenue to downtown St. Paul.

You'll also have some company on the drive on westbound 494 from Portland Avenue to France Avenue.

We still have one lane blocked on southbound 35E at 494 with a couple vehicles under the overpass.
