Commuters in the south metro are zooming along for the most part, even though roads are starting to get crowded. Speeds are near the posted on northbound Cedar Avenue from 35E up to 494.

Northbound 169 has a pocket of heavy traffic from Hwy. 101 up to Anderson Lakes Pkwy., but you can reach 494 in about 8 minutes.

Northbound 35W is a 10-minute drive from County Road 42 up to the Crosstown.

And 494 is moving swiftly in both direction between Hwy. 100 and Cedar Avenue.

The tough spot: Northbound 35 from 210th Street up to County Road 50 due to road work.
