6:50 a.m. update: Congestion forming on Hwy. 169, 35W in south metro

It's taken a bit longer than what we are used to, but the delays on northbound Hwy. 169 across the Bloomington Ferry Bridge have arrived. Traffic is crawling from the Hwy. 101 interchange up to Anderson Lakes Pkwy, adding an extra 5 minutes to the drive.

Northbound 35W goes sour at Hwy. 13 and remains packed up to Black Dog Road. That set back is about 5 minutes. Ahead, things flow great into downtown Minneapolis. That is an 18-minute trip.
