6:45 a.m. update: Standstill on 35E in northeast metro

As authorities continue to tend to the rollover in the median on I-35E just past County Road 96, traffic continues to stack up, especially on the southbound side of things. The rubbernecking has things stopped at County Road J, leading to a 26-minute drive into downtown St. Paul.

As authorities continue to tend to the rollover in the median on I-35E just past County Road 96, traffic continues to stack up, especially on the southbound side of things. The rubbernecking has things stopped at County Road J, leading to a 26-minute drive into downtown St. Paul.

Northbound I-35W from County 42 up to 494 is starting to fill in. The trip into downtown Minneapolis is still under 20 minutes.

Look for lots of company on eastbound 94 from the Crow River to the Fish Lake Split. Plan on 15 to 17 minutes on that run.
