The slowest drive in the metro area is on southbound 35W from Lake Drive down to 694. That is at 21 minutes and rising.

Southbound 35E is sluggish from County Road J down to 694. But after that, things are still moving at close to the posted speeds until you get to Larpenteur Avenue where traffic begins to bunch up.

South metro drivers have it pretty good at this hour with no major delays in place.

Southbound 35W from 95th Avenue to Hwy. 280: 21 minutes

Southbound 35E from County 96 to I-94: 13 minutes.

West metro

Eastbound 94 from Hwy. 101 to 494: 11 minutes

Southbound 494 from 94 down to 394: 11 minutes

Eastbound 394 to 35W via 94: 9 minutes

Southbound Hwy. 169 from I-94 to Crosstown: 15 minutes

Northbound 35W from County 42 to the Crosstown: 10 minutes.

Northbound Cedar Avenue from 35E to the Crosstown: 8 minutes

Northbound 35E from County 42 to downtown St. Paul: 17 minutes

Northbound 169 from County 18 to 494: 15 minutes

Eastbound Hwy. 212 from Dell Road to Crosstown: 11 minutes

Westbound Crosstown from Cedar Avenue to Hwy. 169: 7 minutes Eastbound Crosstown from Hwy. 100 to Cedar Avenue: 7 minutes

East metro

Westbound 94 from Keats Avenue to downtown St. Paul: 12 minutes

Westbound 94 from 35E to the Lowry Hill Tunnel: 9 minutes.
