Rescue workers are heading to a crash on University Avenue at 85th Avenue NE. in Fridley. Sounds like extrication will be needed to get one of the drivers out.

In Brooklyn Park, a fender bender involving a semitrailer truck on northbound Hwy. 169 at 63rd Avenue is off on the right shoulder.

Traffic is starting to bunch up in some of the usual spots, including southbound 35W from Lake Drive to 694 and westbound 94 from White Bear Avenue to downtown St. Paul. Still, that will only cost you a few extra minutes.
