With temperatures at -10 or colder in many place in the metro area, it's not a surprise to have stalled vehicles on the roads.

We've got a Metro Transit bus off to the right shoulder on westbound 94 just east of Huron Blvd. Yesterday AAA responded to more than 850 calls for roadside assistance.

On southbound 35W, look for a wreck blocking the left shoulder at Broadway Street. Traffic slows at Stinson Blvd.

In Ramsey, the crossing arms at Sunfish Lake Blvd. and Ramsey Blvd. are stuck in the down position. That's preventing access to Hwy. 10. The gates at Armstrong Blvd. are working, so that is an option for motorists in the far northwest metro.

As an eviction crisis has seemed increasingly likely this summer, everyone in the housing market has made the same plea to Washington: Send money — lots of it — that would keep renters in their homes and landlords afloat.
