6:45 a.m. update: Big delays on Mendota Bridge and other crashes

Here is the traffic jam that has formed on westbound Hwy. 55 in Mendota. A wreck involving a tanker that pinned a vehicle against a guardrail on the Mendota Bridge is responsible. Also, road work on the bridge has a lane blocked. Commuters here need to be ready for a lengthy delay.

Here is the traffic jam that has formed on westbound Hwy. 55 in Mendota. A wreck involving a tanker that pinned a vehicle against a guardrail on the Mendota Bridge is responsible. Also, road work on the bridge has a lane blocked. Commuters here need to be ready for a lengthy delay.

Other hot spots include an accident on eastbound I-94 at Cretin Avenue and westbound Crosstown at Hiawatha Avenue.
