6:40 a.m. update: More trouble on Hwy. 10

Paramedics are on the way to look for a motorist who went off the road and landed in the ditch on eastbound Hwy. 10 near Foley Blvd. in Coon Rapids. We've got a pocket of congestion prior to the incident near Hanson Blvd. Up ahead, look for a vehicle sitting on the right shoulder at 35W, and the minor set back that comes with that.

In the south metro, speeds are starting to drop on northbound 35W and northbound Hwy. 169 in the vicinity of the bridges over the Minnesota River. It's still not bad, but you will need to hit the brakes.

On westbound 694, a deer is lying on the shoulder at Victoria Street. That's the third deer to be hit this morning so beware.

As an eviction crisis has seemed increasingly likely this summer, everyone in the housing market has made the same plea to Washington: Send money — lots of it — that would keep renters in their homes and landlords afloat.
