6:40 a.m. update: Car fire on Hwy. 169

A vehicle fire on southbound 169 at Pioneer Trail is attracting the attention of northbound drivers. Look for things to bunch up on the Bloomington Ferry Bridge. It's 10 minutes from Hwy. 13 up to 494.

A vehicle fire on southbound 169 at Pioneer Trail is attracting the attention of northbound drivers. Look for things to bunch up on the Bloomington Ferry Bridge. It's 10 minutes from Hwy. 13 up to 494.

The rest of the system is looking pretty good at this hour. We still have traffic moving at near the posted speeds. Look for things to slow down shortly as we move into the heart of the rush.
