Knock on wood, but the drive is off to a very smooth start with no accidents or incidents on metro area highways and freeways.

There is congestion in the usual spots. It's 15 minutes on southbound 35W from 95th Avenue to Hwy. 280.

It's 7 minutes on southbound 35E from Ash Street to 694.

Traffic is starting to build on eastbound 94 from Weaver Lake Road to the 494/694 split in Maple Grove.

It's starting to get busy on southbound 494 from Bass Lake Road to Hwy. 55.
