6:35 a.m. update: Crash cleared from 35W in Minneapolis

Here's the good news about that crash that has blocked the left lanes of southbound 35W at 8th Street SE. for nearly an hour. The lanes are back open as the wreckage is gone.

Here's the good news about that crash that has blocked the left lanes of southbound 35W at 8th Street SE. for nearly an hour. The lanes are back open as the wreckage is gone.

The bad news is that it is still gridlock from Hwy. 36 past the scene. Expect delays to linger for quite a while.

Up in Brooklyn Park, there's word that a vehicle went into the median on southbound Hwy. 252 at Humboldt Avenue. Look for traffic to bunch up coming down from Hwy. 610.
