6:35 a.m. update: Congestion building on 35W in north metro

In Shoreview, southbound 35W is crammed from 95th Avenue to 694. Traffic is also stacked up on eastbound Hwy. 10 at Airport Road. From 95th to Hwy. 280 is about 20 minutes.

While most of the attention this morning has been on I-94 in Minneapolis where a semitrailer truck crashed through the concrete median, traffic is heavy in other places in the metro.

In Shoreview, southbound 35W is crammed from 95th Avenue to 694. Traffic is also stacked up on eastbound Hwy. 10 at Airport Road. From 95th to Hwy. 280 is about 20 minutes.
