6:35 a.m. update: Congestion building on 35W in north and south metro

A crash on northbound 35W at Hwy. 13 has traffic stacked up back to County Road 42. Plan on 5 extra minutes to get past the scene.

A crash on northbound 35W at Hwy. 13 has traffic stacked up back to County Road 42. Plan on 5 extra minutes to get past the scene.

In the north metro, look for tight conditions from Lake Drive down to 694. It's the typical slow down, but that will add a few extra minutes to the drive.

Eastbound Hwy. 10 is at a standstill from Greenhaven Drive to 7th Avenue in Anoka. That is due to single lane road work that runs through Aug. 30.

It's 15 minutes on northbound Hwy. 169 from Canterbury Road up to Anderson Lake Pkwy. due to single lane road work on the Bloomington Ferry Bridge.

Southbound Hwy. 169 is running below the posted speeds from 63rd Avenue to Rockford Road due to heavy traffic.
