Commuters on I-494 passing Hardman Avenue may see some fire trucks and emergency vehicles off to the north. Overnight, crews doused a fire at the Pomp's Tire Services building on the 500 block of Hardman Avenue.

According to a Dakota County Dispatcher, the fire broke out at 3:49 a.m. A couple semitrailer trucks storing tire treads caught fire. The flames are out now and traffic is not affected.

Elsewhere we have a crash on westbound 94 at 101st Avenue in Maple Grove. One of the three vehicles is sitting sideways with its bumper hanging over the fog line. Eastbound traffic slows in the immediate area, probably to take a look.
