6:30 a.m. update: Current drive times

Road work taking out the left lane is causing traffic on westbound 694 to bunch up from Central Avenue over to Hwy. 252 through Brooklyn Center. So far, that's adding only a couple extra minutes to the drive.

In Coon Rapids, the action on Hanson Blvd. at Jay Street is vehicle fire. Andover crews are on the scene trying to put it out.

Look out for the motorist changing a tire on southbound 35E at Shepard Road in St. Paul.

Southbound 494 from 94 down to 394: 8 minutes

Eastbound 394 from 494 to 35W via 94: 9 minutes

Northbound 35W from County 42 to Crosstown: 9 minutes To downtown Minneapolis: 15 minutes.
