6:25 a.m. update: Power outage on Lake Street

The intersection of Blaisdell Avenue and Lake Street in Minneapolis is blocked with downed power lines.

Drivers on Lake Street in Minneapolis will find difficult travel conditions between Blaisdell Avenue and Portland Avenue.

Word is power is out and wires are on the ground. Apparently somebody hit a transformer at Blaisdell and Lake. Authorities are blocking off the intersection.
