Many people have heeded the advice to leave early, and as a result roads are already busy. Most routes will see traffic moving well below the posted speeds.

Tough driving all over with snow covered roads. In some place roads are reduced to a single lane.

Look for a spinout on eastbound 694 at Silver Lake Road.

There is another one on southbound 494 in the center median at Hwy. 55

Metro Transit says 86 percent of buses are on time. The average delay is 3 minutes. Trains are on time.

Two more Metro Transit routes are on detour:

Route 261
• No service into Grace Church Park & Ride lot. Board buses on Hamline at Co. Rd. B2

Route 272
• All service at Hwy. 61 & Co. Rd. C Park & Ride lot will board on Hwy. 61 at Co. Rd. C.
