Motorists in downtown St. Paul will find that 5th Street between 7th Street and Washington Street will close today as work on demolition of the Ordway Theatre begins. Metro Transit and Minnesota Valley Transit Authority buses will be on detour when the work begins.

On the roads at this hour, no real problems for commuters. Southbound 35W is starting to fill in from Hwy. 10 down to I-694.

Both directions of 694 between 35W and Hwy. 252 are moving just fine through the construction zone.

Westbound I-94 from Woodbury to downtown St. Paul is seeing light levels of traffic. No delays there.

Look for building levels on southbound 494 from 94 down to 394.
