The usual congestion is in place on southbound 35W through Shoreview and Mounds View from Hwy. 10 down to I-694. You'll need an extra five minutes at this hour to make that trip.
Both eastbound and westbond 694 also are filling in between Central Avenue and Hwy. 252. That stretch is reduced to two lanes in both directions due to road work. That is still a 5-minute commute.
In the south metro, the Red Line BRT line is up an running. Free rides on the metro area's newest transportation lines are being offered until June 30.
