6:20 a.m. update: Crash blocks Portland Avenue ramp

A spin out led to a crash on the ramp from eastbound Crosstown to Portland Avenue in Richfield. That's a tough one because of all the drivers who are coming off the flyover ramp from southbound 35W to eastbound Crosstown.

A spin out led to a crash on the ramp from eastbound Crosstown to Portland Avenue in Richfield. That's a tough one because of all the drivers who are coming off the flyover ramp from southbound 35W to eastbound Crosstown.

It's a good reminder to keep the speeds down. With lots of room on the roads this morning due to light levels of traffic, there is the temptation to hit the gas pedal. But black ice is common, so resist the urge.
