6:15 a.m. update: Portion of Hwy. 97 closed in Forest Lake

A reconstruction team has been sent to a crash on Hwy. 97 at Iden Avenue in Forest Lake. The highway will be closed for an extended period of time as authorities investigate.

A reconstruction team has been sent to a crash on Hwy. 97 at Iden Avenue in Forest Lake. The highway will be closed in the immediate area for an extended period of time as authorities investigate.

Air Care was sent to the scene and landed in the Century Junior High parking lot. Early reports indicated that one person was thrown from the vehicle and went through the windshield.
