6:15 a.m. update: A nice commute underway

The early stages of Wednesday's rush has been pleasant for commuters with wide open roads. Even the one crash on the system at this hour is not having an impact on traffic.

The early stages of Wednesday's rush has been pleasant for commuters with wide open roads. Even the one crash on the system at this hour is not having an impact on traffic.

That misahp is on the left shoulder on westbound 494 at Hwy. 169 in west Bloomington.

One exception to the above: Northbound I-35 through Lakeville. The single lane work zone is jammed from County Road 70 to County Road 50. That is going to be a tough drive until the road work is done next week.
