6:10 a.m. update: Snow starting to collect on roads

Snow is moving into the metro area and is starting to stick on the sides of highways and freeways, and on ramps and bridges.

Snow is moving into the metro area and is starting to stick on the sides of highways and freeways, and on ramps and bridges.

It's not heavy yet and so far the snow is not slowing traffic significantly. We do expect that to change.

Most of the flakes are in the south and west metro at this hour, but they should show up in the core of the metro in the next 30 minutes.
