6:10 a.m. update: Light volumes, a few stalls

The radios have been busy with reports of stalls, including one on Hwy. 61 just north of Bailey Road in the Newport/Woodbury area.

Traffic levels are very light for the early portion of the rush hour and that's likely due to the fact that many people have the day off due to the cold or their cars won't start. Whatever the reason, those who have to hit the roads will find them wide open and moving at or near the posted speeds.

The radios have been busy with reports of stalls, including one on Hwy. 61 just north of Bailey Road in the Newport/Woodbury area.

Look for another on the right shoulder of westbound 694 at Hwy. 252 in Brooklyn Center. There also are reports of a stall in the center lane of northbound Hwy. 100 at 394.

A reminder that the gate arms to the eastbound 394 HOT lane are stuck shut. Drivers will need to use the general lanes from Hwy. 100 to downtown Minneapolis, or exit to Hwy. 100 and access the HOT lane that way.
