6:10 a.m. update: Crashes close Brooklyn Park ramp

The ramp from County Road 81 to southbound Hwy. 169 is closed as law enforcement and as many as five tow trucks work to clear two separate crashes.

The ramp from County Road 81 to southbound Hwy. 169 is closed as law enforcement and as many as five tow trucks work to clear two separate crashes.

Elsewhere on the system a fender bender resides on the ramp from southbound 35E to County Road E in Vadnais Heights. Ahead, look for a another mishap at Little Canada Road. So far, neither crash is having an adverse effect on traffic.

One other incident of note: Lots of smoke is billowing in the air due to a car fire on northbound 35W at 95th Avenue in Blaine.
