6:10 a.m.update: 0.7 inches of snow at MSP

Lingering snow southeast of the Twin Cities today. Next snow in metro is Sunday.

The National Weather Service is forecasting lingering snow southeast of the Twin Cities this morning. It will be dry tonight and Saturday. Some snow on Sunday. Very cold on Monday.

Snowfall amounts as of 6 a.m.: MSP had 0.7", Chanhassen had 0.6", St. Cloud with 2.8", Eau Claire had 0.2", according to NWS.
