6:05 a.m. update: One lane now open on 169

Authorities have now opened one lane on southbound Hwy. 169 at I-94. The ramp from 77th Avenue to southbound Hwy. 169 is now opened.

Authorities have now opened one lane on southbound Hwy. 169 at I-94. The ramp from 77th Avenue to southbound Hwy. 169 is now opened.

About 5:20 a.m., a vehicle slammed into the guard rail and caught fire. The driver was pulled from the flames. Authority had shut down the highway for about 20 minutes.

Major delays still remain in the area.

Elsewhere, look for a vehicle hung up in the center median on southbound Hwy. 252 at Brookdale Drive in Brooklyn Park.
