Commuters hoping to avoid the massive backups on northbound Hwy. 169 will find that alternate routes are moving well at this hour.

Traffic is light on eastbound Hwy. 212 from Hwy. 41 to 494 at this hour. Northbound 35W through Burnsville is building but things are moving at near the posted speeds at this hour.

That is faster than on 169 where traffic is backed up to County Road 18 due to the single lane configuration across the Bloomington Ferry Bridge.

Elsewhere southbound 35W from Hwy. 10 to I-694 is filling in with a brief slowdown near County Road 10.

No problems to report on southbound 494 through Plymouth, westbound 94 from Woodbury to St. Paul or on northbound or southbound 35E heading into St. Paul.
