Five people, including two teenagers, were injured and taken to hospitals early Friday after the vehicle they were riding in rolled over on a north metro freeway ramp.

The crash occurred about 4:15 a.m. in foggy conditions on the ramp from eastbound I-694 to East River Road in Fridley, the State Patrol said. The vehicle was speeding, ran off the road and rolled several times, the patrol said.

The patrol identified the driver of the 2004 Chevy TrailBlazer as 21-year-old Charles Ginyard III of Fridley. He was taken to North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale with unspecified injuries. Two other passengers, Correna Harwell, 18, of Woodbury, and Victoria Harwell, 21, of St. Paul, also were taken to North Memorial.

Charles Ginyard, 42, of St. Cloud, who is the father of the driver, and Charisse Cash, 18, of Pine River, were taken to Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis. Both were in critical condition Friday afternoon, a hospital spokeswoman said.
