Revisiting "The Mary Tyler Moore Show" — there's a marathon Sunday afternoon on MeTV (1-5 p.m., Ch. 5.3) — or "Dick Van Dyke" or "Ordinary People" is an obvious way to remember Moore, but consider these frequently overlooked options as well.

"Thoroughly Modern Millie": Moore didn't often get a chance to show off her dance training. This Oscar-nominated musical, starring Julie Andrews and studded with Sammy Cahn tunes, is the most delightful exception. (1967, DVD)

"Just Between Friends": "MTM" co-creator Allan Burns recruited her for this big-screen tearjerker in which two fast friends learn they slept with the same man. Ted Danson and Christine Lahti co-star. (1982, DVD)

"Finnegan Begin Again": Robert Preston gets a second chance at love when he falls for Moore's vivacious art teacher in this early HBO gem. (1986, YouTube)

"Flirting With Disaster": Before making "Silver Linings Playbook" and "American Hustle," David O. Russell assembled an all-star cast for Ben Stiller to bounce off in a slapstick search for his birth parents. Moore pairs well with on-screen beau George Segal. (1996, Amazon, Apple)

"The Gin Game": Skip her disappointing 2004 "Van Dyke" reunion. Instead, see the actors explore their darker sides in this PBS adaptation of Donald L. Coburn's classic two-hander. (2003, DVD, You Tube)
