The segment of the Midtown Greenway between Hiawatha Ave and Minnehaha Ave S will be closed Monday through Oct. 14. Cyclists will be detoured via the Sabo Bridge, E. 26th Street and Minnehaha Av. S. The closure is necessary as crews from Xcel Energy install new foundations as part of the Hiawatha Transmission Project.

Over at Lake Calhoun, segments of the off-street bicycle and pedestrian trails around the lake will be resurfaced starting Monday. Trail users will be redirected to adjacent trails as appropriate for the duration of the project. It is anticipated that this project will take approximately one week.
