This has been the morning for car vs. deer crashes. Already we have had four, including two in the past few minutes.

Look out for carcass on the left shoulder of northbound Hwy. 169 at Cedar Lake Road. The motorist who hit the deer had stopped in the left lane for a short time, but has now driven off.

Over in Oakdale, a motorist struck a buck on southbound 694 at Hwy. 5. A little fender damage with this crash that is sitting on the right shoulder.

There is some kind of a hazard causing a mini backup on the westbound Crosstown at Xerxes Avenue in Edina.
