MnDOT says there are at least two separate crashes on southbound 35W in the vicinity of 8th Street SE in Minneapolis.

The Minneapolis Fire Department is on the scene There was no immediate word of injuries.

Traffic is getting by in one lane only and things are plugged up all the way back to Johnson Street.
