It's cold and blustery today, so maybe not a great day for riding your bike to work. But that won't stop some folks.

For those who use the Midtown Greenway, a spur on the trail will be closed for three days. The Hiawatha Spur, the at-grade trail segment just east of the intersection of Hiawatha Avenue and E. 28th St. will be closed through Wednesday. The closure is needed to proof underground ducts for a new Xcel Energy substation.

A detour will send bicyclists over the Sabo Bridge.
