Zachary Lane is getting a new coat of pavement between County Road 81 and 96th Avenue in Maple Grove. Motorists can expect significant delays, according to Hennepin County officials.
As a result, Maple Grove Transit Route 782 will be on detour Thursday through next Wednesday. Here is where Route 782 buses will go:
Morning trips: From the Zachary Park & Ride the buses will travel the 96th Avenue roundabout to eastbound Highway 610 to southbound Hwy. 169 to eastbound I-694.
Afternoon trips: From westbound I-694 to northbound Hwy. 169 to westbound Hwy. 610 to the Zachary Lane exit to Zachary Park & Ride.
The Maple Grove and Minneapolis bus stop locations and times are not affected by the detour. However, the detour routing could result in slightly longer travel times, the transit agency said.
