5:50 a.m. update: Ferry Street/Hwy. 47 open in Anoka

The work on the railroad crossing at Ferry Street/Hwy. 47 near the Anoka County Fairgrounds has been completed. The crossing is open.

Good news for drivers in the far north and northwest metro. The work on the railroad crossing at Ferry Street/Hwy. 47 near the Anoka County Fairgrounds has been completed. The crossing is open.

That might help relieve the horrible traffic problems we saw last week on eastbound Hwy. 10 from Armstrong Blvd. over to Hwy. 169.

Currently we are accident free, and we have lots of room on the highways and freeways.
