5:45 a.m. update: Starting slow and slippery

Already things are heavy on eastbound 94 from County 37 in Albertville down to Weaver Lake Road in Maple Grove.

The overnight snow has left ramps and bridge decks slippery, so use extreme caution getting on and off highway and freeways.

It also was enough that traffic is moving below the posted speeds this morning, so plan for extra time. Just how much remains to be seen.

Already things are heavy on eastbound 94 from County 37 in Albertville down to Weaver Lake Road in Maple Grove.

Things are just building on southbound 35W from the Forest Lake split down to Lexington Avenue.
